Lancôme, Shu Uemura and Kiehl's

For L’Oréal Luxe, I was tasked with building a library of social media assets for Lancôme, Shu Uemura and Kiehl's. I imagined and produced entirely different concepts for each brand that added a layer of storytelling and boosted engagement with consumers.
The approach for Lancôme was to bring its iconic French touch to the holidays and seasonal events throughout the year, showcasing cult favourites and new products. Halloween, Black Friday, Pistachio-Flavoured Gluten Free Macaron Day—you name it, we shot it.
SKIN IS IN
Kiehl’s cool branding and bold packaging was the main inspiration behind the playful concepts I conceived for some of its hero skincare products.
When creating a compelling bank of social assets, efficiency is crucial and propping needs to be on point. I sketched most of the concepts beforehand and coordinated the sourcing of every prop. (My car was a mess!) The preparation paid off: we managed to shoot more than 30 photos in one very long day.
LOST IN JAPAN
Shu Uemura is all about the Japanese Art of Makeup, which I echoed with a soft colour palette, clean composition and sharp light. I still love the #CyberMonday concept, which showcases the brand’s beloved Eye Lash Curler surrounded by computer wires.
